Taylor Lewan talks trash about Ohio State Football
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team has beaten TTUN every year since 2011. In fact, they have only lost to them twice in the last 20 years. The Buckeyes have utterly dominated this rivalry and are favorites to do that yet again this Saturday in the Big House.
Yet, despite those numbers, members of TTUN continue to talk trash. Clearly they have learned nothing from these past results. First it was Cade McNamara and Jim Harbaugh, now it’s a former player. That former player is Taylor Lewan, who now plays for the Titans.
Lewan is the same former TTUN player who opened his mouth against Michigan State and guaranteed a win then. What happened you ask? MSU beat TTUN and shut him up. Apparently he has learned nothing from that ordeal though because he is speaking out again.
On Adam Schefter’s podcast, he says TTUN will “win by a billion”. You can take a look at the clip below posted on Schefter’s Twitter account.
Lewan’s statements are not what TTUN needs. He is just adding more fuel to the fire for the Buckeyes. Ohio State is already a program that is super fired up for this matchup after everything that has happened in the last two years or so. This just adds to it.
For the life of me, I don’t understand why anyone close to that program would open up their mouth and talk trash about the Ohio State Football program. They haven’t come close to beating them in five years and are on the wrong side of a winning streak against them.
I’m sure another pounding by the Buckeyes still won’t be enough to shut Lewan up. All he does is talk.
