3. The Ohio State Football team has issues stopping Walker

Walker is one of the best running backs in the country. In fact, this game will showcase two of the best backs in the game. Walker should be able to rack up a lot of yards, even with the Buckeyes keying on him the entire game. He could have up top 180 yards rushing.

If Walker does that, most fans would think that Michigan State has a great chance of winning the game. That would be true if Ohio State’s offense wasn’t on the other end of the field. We saw them score six touchdowns on their first six possessions last week. They can score in a hurry.

That scoring punch from the Ohio State Football team will render Walker’s running total moot. Even if he were to run for that many yards, I don’t think it would be enough for Michigan State to come out with a victory. Their defense just isn’t quite good enough.

The one thing that could change that is if Walker is able to keep the ball out of C.J. Stroud‘s hands in the second half. The more time Ohio State’s offense is on the bench in this game, the better it is for the Spartans. Time of possession is their friend.

I don’t see that happening though. Ohio State’s defense typically comes up with very timely turnovers, even if they do give up a lot of yards. I don’t see them being bad enough where they lose at home to this team like they did in 2015.
