1. The Ohio State Football team will throw for 400 yards

We saw how vulnerable Michigan State’s secondary is when they played Purdue. They let David Bell go off on them and have over 200 yards receiving. The Boilermakers had over 500 yards passing in that game. That does not bode well for the Spartans heading into this one.

Ohio State is much more talented through the air than Purdue is. Part of that is because they have three studs at the wide receiver position. There’s no way that Michigan State can cover Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. At least one of them will be open any given play.

This isn’t to say that the Buckeyes will completely abandon the running game. I fully expect them to run it well too. What I’m saying is, the Buckeyes will put on an offensive show. The Spartans haven’t faced a team like this before and I’m not sure they’ll be ready.

Whether or not all of that offense will lead to a win is another question. Michigan State has some good players on their offense as well. They also know that Ohio State is weak over the middle of the field, so they can put up some yards of their own as well.

My next bold prediction has to deal with the score at a big point of the game.
