The Ohio State Football team is playing their second ranked team in a row in Michigan State. In my opinion, this is the toughest game they have on their schedule. The Spartans have a history of being a thorn in the Buckeyes’ side when they are in the national title hunt.

This game will be in the Shoe, so that helps the Buckeyes. They are coming off a 59-38 drubbing of Purdue, the team that beat Michigan State. While Ohio State is coming into this game extremely confident, they aren’t coming in cocky. Too much is at stake for that.

Whoever wins this game is still alive for a spot in the College Football Playoff. Ohio State controls their own destiny, while Michigan State would need TTUN to lose either this week or next week for the Spartans to advance to the Big Ten Championship Game.

You know it’s a big game when College Gameday will be there for it. It should be a great atmosphere for a college football game. While the Buckeyes are heavy favorites right now, this is a game that smells like it will be closer than some of the experts think.

I have three bold predictions ready to go for this game. Not all of these are good for the Buckeyes. But even if they’re not, they still have enough talent to overcome some of these predictions. I’ve been fairly accurate on some of these throughout the year.

My first bold prediction has to deal with how well the Buckeyes play on the offensive side of the ball.
