Ohio State Football has broken Clemson’s football program

It all started after Dabo Swinney decided to do something stupid. He ranked the Ohio State football team as the 11th-best team in the country on his Coaches ballot towards the end of the 2020 season. Everyone knew it was absurd. Little did we know it would start the Tigers’ downfall as a program.

Since then, everything has gone wrong for Clemson. They got smashed by the Buckeyes in the Sugar Bowl, lost cornerback Jordan Hancock to the Buckeyes on the recruiting trail, and have had a 2021 season that has given them three losses so far.

Ohio State has broken Clemson as a program. Now, Dabo has given up voting in the Coaches Poll. He will no longer be voting in the poll because the Ohio State football team broke down his will and destroyed the will of the team he coaches. It’s something no one saw coming.

This may be the turning point for Clemson’s program. They might be on their way out as a true contender. It seems that Georgia has usurped Clemson as that contender for the CFP. If that is the case, not only is that bad news for the Tigers, but also for the ACC as a conference.

Something like this should also make Ohio State football fans feel some type of way. Some fans may take joy in knowing that the Buckeyes’ dominance over Dabo and his program has made them contenders no longer. It’s quite an amazing turn of events.

Of course, the fall of Clemson means the rise of Ohio State. Ryan Day has shown the ability to keep the Buckeyes atop the Big Ten and the national landscape for a long time. Buckeye fans don’t need to worry about something like this happening to them.

Personally, I love what the Buckeyes have done to Clemson. It gives me joy that Dabo pays for his stupidity.
