The Ohio State football team destroyed Purdue in a game that wasn’t even close. It was a bit of a surprise that the Buckeyes beat them by that much after the Boilermakers beat Michigan State just a week ago.

Garrett Wilson was the star of the show, scoring a record 4 touchdowns in the game, recording three touchdown receptions and one rushing touchdown. He had 10 catches for 126 yards too. Simply put, he was sensational in this game.

C.J. Stroud was great in it too, going 31/38 for 361 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was much better than he was a week ago at Nebraska. He looked in full command of the offense and Purdue had no answer for him or the rest of the offense all game long.

Purdue was never a threat to win this game. That’s a bit surprising after how well they played last weekend against Michigan State. That just shows you how ready Ohio State was for the game. They made sure that there was no chance there was going to be an upset.

Ohio State won 59-31. That tells you how good they were on offense in this game. It also shows you how good they can be in the rest of the season with their remaining opponents. They showed how dominant they can be. This answers questions about their offense that had come up after the last two weeks.

I think Ohio State sent a message tonight. They are a team that is going to be hard to beat no matter who they play. I’m sure this is something that the CFP committee saw and will take note of. They certainly looked like one of the four best teams in the country tonight.
