The Ohio State basketball team starts their season today! It’s been a few months for the Buckeyes to have to wait to get that bad taste out of their mouths from last March. Getting upset by a 15-seed in the NCAA Tournament is not what they had in mind.

Now they start the 2021-22 season tonight at home against Akron. It should be a game that will teach us a lot about how Chris Holtmann will set his rotation for the year. Justice Sueing will be available tonight and Kyle Young will be a game-time decision.

I have the Buckeyes winning the game 89-55, which is just below 144.5. I think the under hits in this game because Ohio State has a lot of new players and they won’t quite hit on all cylinders quite yet. They will still be plenty good enough to win the game though.
