If you look at Ohio State’s schedule, they haven’t really had a hostile crowd to deal with all season long. Perhaps the loudest opposing stadium they traveled to was in the first game of the year against Minnesota on a Thursday night with the first game with fans in two years.

Other than that opener, a lot of the crowds have been pretty easy to deal with for the Buckeyes. That will change this week against a packed house at Nebraska. Nebraska has the longest sellout streak in the country and that won’t change this week. That crowd should be very loud.

This is a crowd that is desperate for a victory from the Cornhuskers. They want to celebrate a big win so badly. The best way to negate that is to quiet them early with some touchdowns. If the Buckeyes can jump out to a quick 14-0 lead, that should do the trick.

This crowd will help them get prepared for what will be a loud crowd against TTUN in the final game of the season. Ohio State should be pretty well prepared for the crowd tomorrow by the coaching staff, but you never know how the environment will be until you get in it.

If the Buckeyes are able to conquer all three of these keys, they should get another easy win in the Big Ten. They just have to stay focused on the task at hand and play their brand of football.
