In Big Ten country, it’s hard to know what the weather is going to be like any given weekend for a game. The last time the Ohio State football team played a couple of weeks ago it was close to 80 degrees and sunny in Columbus. The same can’t be said for today’s game in Bloomington.

The weather looked like it was going to be okay for a while to start the week, but that has changed. In fact, it looks like the weather is getting worse as time goes on. In fact, it could end up being worse than what I end up writing about because the weather can change quickly.

As of now, it will be 54 degrees and cloudy at kickoff. It doesn’t look like it will be windy at all, so the first half of the game should be much easier for passing the ball. That helps the Buckeyes because of how good C.J. Stroud has been. The second half of the game is going to be a different story.

The second half could bring some rain. By that time though, the Ohio State football team should already have a sizable lead. The rain would mean they can pound TreVeyon Henderson and the rest of the running backs to take time off the clock and sit on the lead. It will be tough for IU to come back in that weather.

The temperature won’t drop too much as it should still be 50 degrees by the time the game is over. I just hope the rain holds off because I will be in attendance. It does seem that the rain gets closer and closer to kickoff as the week has gone on though.

No matter what the weather ends up being, the Buckeyes should end up winning this game.
