The Ohio State football team came into this game playing some of the best football of anyone in the country. They were fresh off a bye week that got them healthy too. Indiana was in for a long game.

It turned out to be a game that they no chance of winning. Ohio State dominated the game from start to finish, winning 54-7. It was a game that wasn’t close after the first few possessions. After Jack Tuttle got hurt on the first possession, IU lost all chance of being able to move the ball.

The Buckeye offense was unstoppable. C.J. Stroud was 21/28 for 266 yards and 4 touchdowns. That’s even more impressive considering it rained the entire game. He was still able to keep command of the ball when he threw it. Ever since he sat out of the Akron game, he’s been tremendous.

TreVeyon Henderson only had 9 carries in this game, but they were for 81 yards and 2 touchdowns. Once Ohio State got up as quickly as they did, Henderson was no longer needed. Miyan Williams also had 8 carries for 60 yards and a touchdown. The Buckeyes were able to get whatever they wanted on offense the entire game.

Defensively, the Buckeyes were good outside of the opening drive where they allowed IU to score a touchdown. They fixed their issues and were able to get to the quarterback. They had plenty of pressure on IU quarterbacks all game, which was good to see.  That was something that has lacked this year.

This was a good tune up right before they play Penn State. Penn State lost to Illinois in 9 overtimes today, so that game has lost a little bit of juice. Even so, it will still be a big game for both teams. It’s a game that Ohio State will surely be favored in.

I think the Buckeyes have figured it out. They might be the best team in the Big Ten with the way they are playing.
