The Ohio State football program has one of the best fanbases in all of college football. Their fans travel like very few around the country. They also have a lot of fans that have moved all around the country, so they have a lot of fans at away games as well as home games.

This weekend should be no different in Bloomington. IU is only a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Columbus. Many fans will be making the trip there this weekend. There are also still quite a few fans of the Buckeyes that live in the state of Indiana.

All of these Buckeye fans being there gives IU less of an edge in this night game. Most Ohio State-IU matchups in Bloomington are filled with fans wearing red in the stands. That’s because it’s the primary color of both teams and it’s one of the few times the stadium is filled.

With Ohio State playing as well as they are right now, more Buckeye fans are inclined to travel for a game like this. With it being a night game, it also gives people a chance to get a hotel and stay the night and not have to worry about driving back immediately after the game is over.

Either way, the Ohio State players will love hearing their fans in the stands at a road game like this. If the game goes well, there’s a very good chance that stadium OHIO will be happening by the end of the game. That’s one of my favorite things to see as an Ohio State football fan,
