The Ohio State football team comes off their bye week with another Big Ten East foe. This one is a team that has sneakily given the Buckeyes some issues over the years. That foe is the Indiana Hoosiers. This game will be in Bloomington against a team that has struggled this year.

Despite starting the season as the 17th ranked team in the country, IU has had a rough go of it so far this season. They started off the season with a loss to Iowa and have lost three other games since. In fact, IU has yet to win a Big Ten conference game this year.

Every team the Hoosiers have lost to this season has been a ranked foe. Now the Buckeyes come into Bloomington as the number five team in the country and off a bye week. I kind of feel bad for Indiana and how tough their schedule has been so far, but there’s no rest for the weary in this conference.

Ohio State football vs. Indiana odds Week 8

The Week 8 betting odds on WynnBET have the Buckeyes as 18 point favorites on Saturday night. That’s actually a little bit of a closer line than I thought it was going to be. IU is a 2-4 football team and Ohio State is off a bye week. The over/under is set at 60.5.

Ohio State football vs. Indiana prediction Week 8

Ohio State has shown that they have the best offense in the country. While IU does have a good defense, they still won’t be able to stop the Buckeyes. Their offense is also incredibly turnover-prone. I don’t see them being able to keep up in this one.

After Iowa fell to Purdue on Saturday, I can’t see the Buckeyes overlooking the Hoosiers. I have them winning this game at this juncture by a score of 52-10. As you can see, that hits the over as well as the Buckeyes covering by an easy margin.

Next. Ohio State is still the best team in Ohio. dark

It should be a fun one in Bloomington this Saturday night.
