Ohio State Football has the best offense in the country
By Ryan Stano
It took a while, but the Ohio State football team has finally gotten its offense to operate at full capacity. Now that C.J. Stroud is more healthy with his shoulder, they can throw the ball with much higher efficiency. That passing game has unlocked the Buckeyes’ offense.
No team in the country gains more yards per game than the Ohio State football team. They have the most prolific offense in the country. They can run the ball well with TreVeyon Henderson and they have a bevy of wide receivers that they can throw to as well.
The biggest question surrounding this team is the defense and whether or not they can hold up their end of the bargain. While they have been much better in recent weeks, they still have to show that they can make stops against teams with good offenses.
Offensively though, I’m not sure that there is a defense that can stop this team. The Buckeyes can score with any team in the country. When an offense is this explosive, it’s hard for other teams to stay in the game. Ohio State can just try to outscore anyone.
It will be interesting to see how this offense evolves the rest of the season. They can still get better from here too. That’s the scary thing for the rest of the Big Ten and other teams around the country. No one wants to see this team get into the CFP because they would be a very tough out.
I would expect the Buckeyes to put up big points yet again against IU next weekend as well.
