#5 Alabama at Mississippi State

In the SEC, watching how Alabama progresses after their shocking loss to Texas A&M will be interesting. The Crimson Tide can still easily make the playoffs if they win out.

For OSU, that is certainly worth keeping an eye on when Alabama seems to be the team in the Bucks’ way of a national title recently. Also, Ohio State will have no worries getting into the College Football Playoff if they are to win out and Alabama loses again this season, eliminating the chance of two SEC teams.

Mississippi State could be another challenging environment for the Crimson Tide on Saturday night. The Bulldogs can get rowdy at night with cowbells ringing loudly. Mississippi State also has some good wins against Texas A&M and North Carolina State this season.

Alabama will likely show up and destroy Mississippi State after looking so beatable against the Aggies last week. Nick Saban-led teams always bounce back from a loss in a big way. However, if Alabama does not show up ready to play, Mississippi State is capable of playing well enough to keep it competitive.
