Ohio State Football: 10 bold predictions for OSU vs. Maryland
By Alex Austin
Freshmen are once again going to shine for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
TreVeyon Henderson rushes for over 125 yards
Henderson was sidelined early last week, sitting out the game starting late in the first quarter, and still was close to 100 yards rushing. Averaging almost a first down per carry, there is no reason Henderson will not get the ball and be able to make some big plays.
The Heisman hype is just starting for this young man, and I think a big performance against Maryland will vault his name even higher in that discussion. With something to prove, he will light up the first half and continue to impress and grow his average yard per carry.
Denzel Burke will get another interception
On the season, Burke has one interception (should have been two is not for a weird replay decision) and a touchdown. I think Burke doubles up his interception total in this game. Maryland has a pair of star wide receivers, but with Dontay Demus out for the year with injury, the Terrapins are going to be left Rakim Jarrett as the biggest threat. I envision Burke lining up with him often and being able to capitalize once Maryland starts trying to force the ball.
