The offense will be counting on C.J. Stroud and TreVeyon Henderson to step up for Ohio State.

C.J. Stroud throws for 3 touchdowns

There has been a lot of controversies around if Stroud should be the starting quarterback moving forward. In my opinion, Kyle McCord looked fine last week, but he did not do anything that made me think he would be better than Stroud moving forward. Stroud is the man moving forward.

With a chip on his shoulder (and some of the pain off of his shoulder), Stroud comes into this game with something to prove. Rutgers is likely not a game the Buckeyes are scoring on every drive, but Ohio State should be able to move the ball. I think Stroud looks the part this week and gets three touchdowns.

TreVeyon Henderson records a receiving and rushing touchdown

The play that caused Henderson to break onto the scene and earn more playing time has to be his screen catch against Minnesota where he took it 75 yards to the house. Screens and short passes are a great way to get the ball into his hands and let him pick up massive yards, and I think the Buckeyes will do that as a way to keep Rutgers off balance.

Henderson has the potential to be one of the best running backs Ohio State has ever had, and I think he puts on another show with another rushing touchdown to add to his growing numbers.
