The Ohio State football team has some questions they need to get answered before the Big Ten season starts.

The sky has been falling in Columbus after the Buckeyes had a third consecutive that showed some glaring weaknesses of this team. For a team and fan base that is used to winning and rolling through the Big Ten, the current struggles are alarming.

But, before going too crazy, this is a reminder that the season is early, the team is young, and Ryan Day has never lost to a Big Ten opponent. There is plenty of time for Ohio State to figure things out and become the juggernaut they have been the last few years.

Before jumping too far ahead though, there are some concerning trends that need to be addressed quickly. They will need to start this week in their night game against Akron before they set aside non-conference matchups and play an entirely Big Ten schedule for the rest of the season.

Ohio State still has all of its goals ahead of them, and it is better to find a fatal flaw early in the year than in November when everything is on the line. The outcome of this game is not in question, but if the Buckeyes do not show improvement it could spell future trouble. Here are the top questions Ohio State needs to answer this week.
