Another defensive lineman will look to turn in a monster performance against Tulsa. A lot of high expectations surrounded Zach Harrison going into the season, he has always been the expected next star defensive end for OSU.

Harrison did start off the season with a great game against Minnesota. He showed his ability to rush the passer on a strip-sack during the third quarter.

Harrison consistently showed his burst off the edge and was close to hitting Minnesota’s QB over and over again. Against the Gophers, Harrison made plays against the run as well, which is desperately needed right now.

In Week 2, Harrison’s productivity completely flipped. Instead of dominating, he was a non-factor against Oregon throughout the whole game. He rarely got around the edge and created pressure, and he consistently broke contain on the run.

It is time for Harrison to step back up versus Tulsa. He has all of the intangibles to be a fantastic player for the Buckeyes, as seen in his current first-round NFL projection.

Tulsa gave up three sacks against UC Davis and two sacks against Oklahoma State. If UC Davis can pressure Tulsa, there is no reason why Harrison cannot have a huge day Saturday afternoon.

Look for Harrison to play at a high level just like he did in the season-opener.
