The Ohio State football team is entering a soft portion of their schedule right when the team is needing answers. There are three key questions the Buckeyes have to answer next week against Tulsa.

Ohio State is coming off their first regular-season loss in the Ryan Day era, and it was not a good one. Though the final score had the Buckeyes just seven points behind the Ducks, the game felt much more out of hand. Ohio State got it handed to them, and now they need to look to bounce back.

Ohio State has two games against teams who should be extremely overmatched on their schedule with Tulsa and Akron. This is both good and bad.

The good news is that this is a great time to try and figure things out since the result should never really be in question. Mixing up personnel, schemes, coaching, and anything else can be done before the meat of the Big Ten Schedule.

The potential negative is that Ohio State could run out the exact same thing they did against Oregon and get impressive results. Having such a wide talent gap might not allow the Buckeyes to truly change since they do not have to be different to win.

Ohio State needs to change if they want to have a successful season, and these are the top three questions that need to be answered.
