The Ohio State Football team will host Oregon this Saturday in one of the top matchups of the weekend. Here are three bold predictions for the Buckeyes.

The Ohio State Buckeyes welcome the Oregon Ducks to Columbus in one of the most anticipated matchups of the season. Both teams are looking to win their conference and make a run at the College Football Playoffs this year. While a loss does not rule either team out, it would force them to have a perfect remainder of the season which comes with its own challenges.

Last time these two teams played, they both made the College Football Playoffs and met in the National Championship. That matchup (like each matchup between the Buckeyes and Ducks) ended with Ohio State winning. This year, both teams managed to get the win against lesser opponents, which ultimately is what each school was hoping to do.

There are plenty of intriguing storylines in this game, as both teams are still trying to figure out who they are while simultaneously getting a feel for their opponent. The stage is set for a huge matchup that will likely have college football playoff implications at the end of the season.

With that in mind, here are my bold predictions for what happens when the Oregon Ducks take on the Ohio State Buckeyes.
