The Ohio State football team will take on Oregon on Saturday at noon. It was a game that was supposed to be the second of a home and home. Unfortunately, last year’s game at Oregon was canceled due to the pandemic, so now it will just be a one-game series.

Both teams are coming off a Week 1 victory, albeit in different ways. Ohio State covered last week’s line of 13.5, while Oregon struggled and only beat Fresno State by 7.  They will be looking to show everyone that they are a better team than what they showed in that game.

The Buckeyes will be happy to be playing in front of a full stadium of their own fans for the first time since 2019. It will be a super-charged atmosphere with a lot of energy. Ryan Day is hoping that atmosphere helps his team get the victory in this one.

Ohio State football vs. Oregon Odds Week 2

According to WynnBet, the Buckeyes are currently a 14-point favorite. It’s a little surprising that they are favored to win this game against a ranked Oregon team as they were playing an unranked Minnesota team. In any case, that’s how they see it. Both Ohio State and Oregon have -110 money line odds. The over/under sits at 64 and that money line also sits at -110.

Ohio State football vs. Oregon Prediction Week 2

Even though the Buckeyes’ defense struggled against Minnesota, especially against the run, they should still be better. C.J. Stroud should be less nervous in this game too and should be more accurate. Ohio State still has the best receivers in the country too.

The running game was solid in Week 1 with both Miyan Williams and TreVeyon Henderson carrying the ball. Expect both of them to get the lion’s share of the carries. Kayvon Thibodeaux is in a walking boot, so it remains to be seen if he plays. That would make Ohio State’s passing game even more deadly.

It’s the first home game Ohio State has played in front of fans in two years. No way they lose this one. Ohio State wins 45-27
