Weekend games that impact the Ohio State Football team

#19 Penn State Nittany Lions at #12 Wisconsin Badgers
This is a game that will have much bigger repercussions for Ohio State this year. Both these teams are expected to be competitive and could end up playing the Buckeyes.
Penn State is hoping to use their momentum at the end of the last season to propel them to another good year. After losing their first five games of the season, the Nittany Lions rattled off four straight wins and ended up not being completely embarrassed. With a full offseason, Penn State is looking to at least get back to the second-best team in the Big Ten East.
Wisconsin has its sights set on Indianapolis once again but will need to navigate through a potentially tricky Big Ten West. Another team that is hoping to move on from a rough 2020 season, the Badgers are hoping to ride a dominant defense and punishing ground attack.
This is an interesting game for Ohio State. The Buckeyes know they will play Penn State this year, and Wisconsin is the favorite win the West. While a Penn State loss would create a little but of wiggle room for Ohio State, ultimately I don’t think the result of this game will have a huge effect on Ohio State as they will likely see both teams this year.
