When the Ohio State football team plays Minnesota, here are the three players you want to make sure you know all about.

The Buckeyes will get their season started on Thursday against the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a Big Ten battle. Unlike last year, the Ohio State football team does not enter the season with many players who are names known around the country. Chris Olave is the top Buckeye with Garrett Wilson behind him, but beyond that fans of other teams may not be able to name many other Ohio State players.

With the turnover that happens to the NFL each year, Ohio State will need to reload in order to create another household name.

Minnesota is returning the vast majority of its team, however, these players struggled to a 3-4 record last year and did not look good. The Gophers are hoping that a full offseason and summer camp will produce results more similar to the 2019 version of Minnesota that saw themselves awfully close to winning the Big Ten West.

The Buckeyes enter as strong favorites, but as the first game of the season, at night, in Minnesota, there are plenty of reasons to think the score could be closer than you think. Here are the three players to know who will have the biggest impact.
