A doubleheader against the teams up north to end the Buckeye season

Michigan State

The Spartans are going through the start of their rebuilding years and are not expected to be much of a challenge. With the recent switch of head coaches and a young roster, Michigan State is hoping to see improvement rather than expecting certain results on the field.

This will be a game the Buckeyes need to maintain their focus before the biggest game of the year, but an excited home crowd should be able to help. Counting on players who know this is their last game in the ‘Shoe, the Buckeyes should be able to maintain focus.

The Game. Always the most important matchup of the year, this one seems more important since the Wolverines and Buckeyes were not able to play in 2020. Ryan Day does not want to be the coach to end the tremendous winning streak against Michigan, but this will be a challenge for C.J. Stroud.

Michigan might be out of the running for the Big Ten East at this point, but they will be a team playing without any care for the future. The Wolverines have put a bigger emphasis on beating Ohio State this year with the hope of ending the drought.
