Ohio State Football season predictions

Ohio State jumps back into their Big Ten schedule
@ Rutgers
The expectation at Rutgers is that there will come a point in the next few seasons where they are not considered an automatic win. With Greg Schiano back as the head coach, the Scarlet Knights are looking to get some level of competency. While this might happen, it won’t be this year.
Ohio State has too much talent across the board for Rutgers to put up much of a fight. Even though the Buckeyes will be on the road, this shouldn’t be too much of a challenge. I do think that the team starts off a little slower, but is able to pull away late.

Maryland
Maryland is another program that is trying to get out of the Big Ten cellar but is looking at a long season. It was only a few years ago that Ohio State and Maryland went back and forth in a shootout before the Buckeyes were able to secure the win.
This will not be that kind of game. Ohio State will have learned from a slower game against Rutgers, and come out fast, rolling to an easy win that is really over by halftime.

Bye
The bye week comes at a good time before the meat of the Ohio State schedule kicks in.
