The Ohio State football team. is set to start their 2021 season on Thursday when they take on Minnesota. We take a look at what the season could look like for the Buckeyes.

The Ohio State football team is set to begin its 2021 season on Thursday. Ohio State has a full season this year to navigate all the highs and lows a college football season has to offer. With new faces at key positions, this Buckeye team has some more question marks over last year. Even with new players, the goals for this team never change.

Ohio State is considered the favorite to win the Big Ten again, and to compete for a spot in the college football playoffs. In order to do that the Buckeyes will have to navigate the biggest non-conference opponent of the Ryan Day era, and a Big Ten slate with many familiar foes.

This will be a different kind of challenge from last year, but navigating a full season should not be taken lightly. Even though the Buckeyes will be favorites in every game they play, there are some potential trap games and challenging opponents.

We’ll take a deeper dive into each game for the Buckeyes, look at what to expect from each opponent. We did something like this earlier this offseason, but now that we know a little bit more about the depth chart we’ll do it again.
