The Ohio State football team enters their first game of the year, against Minnesota, as favorites, but there are some areas of concern to watch for the Buckeyes.

Buckeye Nation is excited, it’s game week! The Ohio State football team will take on Minnesota on Tuesday night on the road. This will be the first game action for many new faces including the new quarterback, C.J. Stroud.

Ryan Day has had his team locked in every game he has coached, but Minnesota provides a unique challenge. The Gophers were one of the biggest surprise teams in 2019 as they were one game away from winning the Big Ten West, however, in 2020 they saw the wheels fall off.

While there will be many things that Ohio State fans are looking for in the upcoming game, there are a few items that will be able to be pretty good indicators for the remainder of the season. Here are the top three things that I think will be watching.
