The Ohio State football team doesn’t have a terribly tough schedule in 2021, but they will still face off against some really good coaches.

We know who the best coach is in the Big Ten. It’s Ryan Day, despite what some people may think. Day went up against two of the best in the business just last season in Dabo Swinney and Nick Saban. He beat Dabo but lost to Saban in the National Championship Game. He has the Ohio State football program at the top.

Day won’t have as good of a coach as either of these guys on his schedule this season. Even so, there are some coaches who have excellent track records of success. There are guys that can get their team to play at a high-level game in and game out, even against the best competition.

The Buckeyes will be favored in every single game they play in the regular season. That doesn’t mean that another team can’t beat them though. The best way for another team to upset Ohio State is to have a great gameplan come from the coach. No team will have more talent than the Buckeyes.

These are the three best coaches that the Buckeyes will face this year. Some may not agree with me on how I order these coaches, but this is who I think is doing the best at their job right now and has the best chance to coach a good enough game to beat the Buckeyes.

The first coach on this list is the guy the Buckeyes will have to face first at home in the first home game at the Shoe with fans since 2019.
