Ohio State will have two players catch 12 or more touchdown passes

Over the past few seasons, Ohio State fans have been blessed to see some of the most prolific passing attacks in the country. Paris Campbell and Terry McLaurin in 2018 were followed by Chris Olave and K.J. Hill in 2019.

With the tremendous seasons the Ohio State offense had with these players, they did not have two players record 12 touchdown catches in the same season. Even with a new quarterback, this will be the year Ohio State has two players break the 12 touchdown mark.

Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson are arguably the two best wide receivers in college football, and they play for the same team. With such tremendous talent at the position, Ohio State is going to embrace the passing attack again this year. Averaging one touchdown a game should not be a problem for either player.

Against some of the more stout defenses, only one of these young men may score, but there are enough games against weaker opponents that could see either player recording multiple touchdowns.

Both players excel at creating the big play and there will be plenty of fireworks from these two, but they also both perform well in the red zone and can create separation when things get crowded. C.J. Stoud will look to his premier weapons early and often throughout the season and records will be made for the Buckeyes.

If these predictions hit, the Ohio State football team has a real shot at winning it all this season after coming up just short a year ago.
