#1 A surprising choice for the Buckeyes’ lowest winning percentage

If this were solely my list it would have stopped above. I believe Oregon, Indiana, and Penn State pose the biggest threats to Ryan Day remaining undefeated in the regular season. ESPN FPI, however, gives the Buckeyes their lowest winning percentage against a surprising team, The Team Up North.

A few years ago this would have made more sense with the Wolverines and Buckeyes playing close football games. Recently, Ryan Day has shown that he has the perfect recipe to not only beat Jim Harbaugh but to embarrass him.

Besides Michigan tossing around a few mantras about how they are taking The Game seriously (something Ohio State has been living for decades), there is nothing the Wolverines have done that would give me any reason to believe they can compete with the Buckeyes. What is likely a tribute to the rivalry and maintaining the belief that you throw records out the window, ESPN FPI gives Ohio State an 81% chance of winning The Game.

While this may not be a barn burner of a schedule, while Ohio State continues out recruiting, developing, and coaching the rest of the Big Ten there may not be many teams on the schedule that will be able to challenge the Buckeyes.

But as mentioned at the beginning, there is a reason we play the games, and these four games are the ones where Ohio State is most likely to slip up.
