Ohio State Football: These teams are most likely to beat OSU this year
By Alex Austin
#2 Not a big surprise at who has the second-best odds to beat the Buckeyes
Speaking of Penn State, the Nittany Lions see Ohio State’s win percentage dip to the second-lowest mark all season at “just” 82%. For those who have watched these games in the past, Penn State is the one team in the Big Ten that has provided the Buckeyes regular competition.
The series is currently being remembered for several blown fourth-quarter leads by the Nittany Lions, but games that have caused Buckeye fans to sweat a little. This has not been the case for any other team in the Big Ten between the tenures of Urban Meyer and Ryan Day.
While not a rival, Penn State is typically the best game on Ohio State’s schedule. Often a recipient of hosting College Football Gameday and all the fanfare that comes with two highly ranked teams playing in a significant game.
Providing Penn State is able to overcome a disappointing 2020 season and rebound to their usual strength, this could be another great showdown between two teams. Coming late in the season there is always the high chance this game determines the frontrunner for the East Division and provides the winner a straight shot to the Big Ten Championship game.
The last team on this list is only on here because of the emotions involved with the game, not the talent that they have in comparison to the Ohio State football team.
