Ryan Day has shown improvement and elevation in each year as head coach
Ryan Day is one of the best coaches in America. When he first became head coach at Ohio State there was plenty of speculation about how he would fare taking over for Urban Meyer, but he has put up incredible accolades. He has not lost a Big Ten game through two seasons and took the high standards of Urban Meyer recruiting and elevated them even further.
Day will have a talented quarterback, a choice of several great running backs, and the best offensive line and wide receiver group in the country. Add in an improved defense and the talent is clearly there.
The thing I believe Ryan Day will do this year is to focus his team on the next objective. In year one it was making the playoffs again. Year two was about beating Clemson. Now in year three, Day can focus on the biggest objective (winning the National Title) because he knows his team is there.
