The Ohio State football team has plenty of top performers, but they also have players who need to play better to match expectations. These three players have the most to prove going into this season.

The Ohio State football program is in pretty good shape as far as the roster goes. There are a lot of players who are very good and are living up to expectations. Those are the type of players that helped drive Ohio State to the National Championship Game a year ago.

Even with a roster as talented as the Ohio State football program has, even they have players that have things to prove. They have things to prove to coaches, fans, and themselves. There are three players specifically who have the most to prove out of anyone on the roster.

The reasons for why they have something to prove vary by the player. Some of them are trying to rebound from a bad start to their career. Others are looking to improve their draft status if they can have a strong season in the upcoming 2021 campaign.

Ryan Day knows that if the Buckeyes are going to play for a national title again, these three players are going to have to play big roles on this team. All three of them will get plenty of playing time and will get a significant number of snaps.

The first player on this list had a rough first year as a starter and is now fighting to prove that he belongs as a starter on the offensive line.
