Be careful what you say online because in due time your past words can backfire on you. That is what happened to Penn State’s four-star recruit Ken Talley on Twitter after coming after the Ohio State football program.

Big Ten fans and players are obviously discouraged about their team’s chances of competing in the conference as Ohio State, who was already good, keeps getting better. Take a look at any Big Ten team’s message board and you’ll see the evidence for yourself. Fans trash talk on a daily basis, but it is not often that a player or recruit chimes in.

Ken Talley, an edge rusher from Philadelphia who is committed to Penn State, decided to tweet “No other school recruiting like us, Ohio state commits just committed there for fun not to actually have a chance to get playing time.”

Ohio State five-star linebacker commit, C.J. Hicks, showed no mercy on his future-rival, and replied with “You don’t want to talk about how you wanted that OSU offer so you can commit.”

Talley countered with a reply stating “I wanted O state, Bama, LSU, Clemson just to give motivation to the youngins in my city I been a PSU commit [commit] since I got the O [offer].”

Unfortunately for Talley, he has yet to receive an offer from any of the aforementioned schools and committed to Penn State after also receiving offers from such as Florida, Akron, Baylor, UMass, Morgan State, and others.

C.J. Hicks, or “Captain Buckeye” as many fans have started calling him, continued to be ruthless and exposed Talley even more by posting screenshots from an Instagram conversation between the two.

In the photo below, Talley is shown asking Hicks if he could put a word into the Ohio State staff in hopes of receiving an offer. These messages were exchanged on May 27, 2020, long after Talley was first offered by PSU. Unfortunately, the photo was deleted to cover his butt.

Both C.J. Hicks and Ken Talley are defense players in the class of 2022, so unfortunately they will never be on the field at the same time. However, Ken Talley’s name will certainly be one to remember for Ohio State fans when the Nittany Lions come to town in the future.

Next. OSU comes from behind to get latest receiver commit. dark

I can’t wait for the Ohio State football program to punk Penn State as they have done for the last few years.
