Ohio State football fans should feel good about today, and it’s not just because it’s the Fourth of July. They will be celebrating a big commitment today.

Happy Fourth of July! It’s a holiday to celebrate the freedom that this great country has afforded us. It also gives us a chance to celebrate family and friends. Ohio State football fans will be celebrating more than that today though on this fine Sunday.

Based on everything I’m hearing, I am supremely confident that J.T. Tuimolau will be choosing to attend Ohio State today. He is making his decision at 4 pm on CBS Sports. According to everyone who has knowledge of the situation, it is between Ohio State and Oregon.

While Oregon has the geographical advantage and some decent players in the pros, Ohio State has a long track record of success and competing for championships. They also put a ton of pros into the NFL. Those pros at defensive end also get big contracts. Just look at Joey Bosa.

The Buckeyes have so many things that are too enticing for Tuimoloau to turn down. Tuimoloau would get coaching from the best defensive line coach in the country in Larry Johnson. He would also have Jack Sawyer on the other side of him for three years, so teams won’t be able to double-team him.

I do not have any inside information on this recruitment process personally. Tuimoloau has done a great job of keeping everything close to the vest. But people way smarter than me have connected the dots and it all seems to lead to Tuimoloau choosing Ohio State.

dark. Next. 3 players OSU bball should target in transfer portal

As always, we will be all over the decision once it is announced. I would be shocked if I am writing anything other than a celebratory article later this afternoon.
