With Duane Washington keeping his name in the NBA Draft and forgoing his NCAA eligibility, the Ohio State basketball team now a scholarship open. Here are three players they should take a look at in the transfer portal.

The Ohio State basketball team was really good in the regular season a year ago. They were able to secure a two-seed in the NCAA Tournament. Obviously, they didn’t make the best of that after losing to Oral Roberts in the first round. Now they have to try and do better this season.

Even though the Buckeyes bring in some talented freshmen this season in Malaki Branham and Kalen Etzler. Branham should get in the rotation immediately, especially with Washington’s departure. Even so, Ohio State should still try to improve the team via the transfer portal.

There are three really good options for the Buckeyes that they could try to get to help improve their team. In fact, all of these players should be very familiar to Ohio State basketball fans. In fact, most of them are from Big Ten schools and are very good players.

The first one of these players was actually the best player for one of the best Big Ten teams last season. We’ll start with him first because he could actually fit a position need for the Buckeyes in a big way.
