The Ohio State football program have continued to show that they are one of the best programs in the country when it comes to developing NFL talent.

The NFL released its official All-Under-25 team and three former Ohio State football players made the cut. Those three were Nick Bosa, Chase Young, and Denzel Ward. Each of these players is already having amazing careers on the next level and has the potential to be near the top of their respective positions in the near future.

Nick Bosa

Despite missing all but two of the games in his sophomore season in the NFL, Nick Bosa has already shown that he can one day be the most dominant defensive end in the league.Bosa was a force to be reckoned with in college as well.

Despite his final season at Ohio State being cut short due to injuries, Bosa still put together a great college career with the Buckeyes. He finished with totals of 47 solo tackles, 30 assists tackles, 29 tackles for loss, 17.5 sacks, two passes defended, two forced fumbles, and one touchdown.

Bosa wound up being the second overall pick of the 2019 NFL draft to the San Francisco 49ers where he had a dominant rookie season. As a rookie, Bosa was one of the best players on a 49ers defense that carried the team to a Super Bowl appearance.

He was named to a Pro Bowl and won the Defensive Rookie of the Year award. Along with this, only he and Von Miller recorded nine or more sacks, fifteen or more tackles for loss, and 25 or more QB hits since 2006. With this incredible start of a career, the sky is the limit for Bosa as long as injuries do not continue to plague him.

Chase Young

Although he has only played a single season, Chase Young has already proven more than enough to be named to this team. During his time with the Ohio State football program, Young totaled 68 solo tackles, 30 assisted tackles, 40.5 tackles for loss, 30.5 sacks, eight passes defended, and nine forced fumbles.

Young was selected with the second overall pick of the 2020 NFL draft by the Washington Football Team. In terms of draft position and individual accolades, Bosa and Young had nearly identical rookie seasons. Young was also named to a Pro Bowl and named the Defensive Rookie of the Year after being selected second overall.

He was an essential part of a dominant Football Team defense. Without Young on the team, it is likely they would have missed the playoffs. He became the first rookie with ten or more QB hits, tackles for loss, and three or more fumble recoveries since Clay Matthews in 2009.

Young will continue to be a critical part of the Football Team rebuild and will likely be the face of their franchise through his prime.

Denzel Ward

The final former Ohio State football player on the All-Under-25 team is Denzel Ward. During his time at Ohio State, Ward finished with 47 solo tackles, 20 assisted tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions, and 24 passes defended.

He was selected with the fourth overall pick of the 2018 draft. Ward has had a great start to his career with the Cleveland Browns. He has slowly worked his way up to being one of the most talented and respected cornerbacks in the entire NFL.

He made the Pro Bowl his rookie season in 2018. Ward has had issues staying on the field due to injuries throughout his young career. Despite not running into any injuries that are too serious, Ward has still not been able to play a full season.

However, this is out of his control and when he is on the field he is one of the best at what he does. Last season, he posted the second-best tight window rate along with leading the league in ballhawk rate.
