The Ohio State football team will go as far as their coaching allows them to go this season. They have the talent, it’s just about Ryan Day putting all the pieces together.

The Ohio State football team has enough talent to make the national title yet again this season. Their team is experienced and athletic. It’s a team that is clearly the best in the Big Ten and will certainly be one of the best in the country. Simply put, it’s a team that can win it all.

With a team being that good, it doesn’t come down to how talented the team is. It comes down to how the coaching puts all the pieces together. That’s why Nick Saban has been able to win so many championships over his tenure. He put all the pieces together on some great teams.

Now it’s Ryan Day’s turn to try and put all of the pieces together. He got bested by Saban once. This year, he’s going to try his best to not let it happen again. He has to put his talent in the best position to win games in a big spot like the National Championship Game last year.

Whether or not Day can do that this season is another matter. He still has only been a head coach for two full years. This will be his third full season as the face of the program. He still has a lot to learn as far as doing the things he needs to win at the absolute top level.

The Buckeyes will need to keep themselves mentally higher than what they were last season. Last year’s squad was a great team, but it wasn’t quite good enough. This year’s team needs to be just a little bit more mentally strong in order to win it all.

Next. Buckeyes are in a waiting game. dark

Day’s coaching abilities will be put to the test this year. I can’t wait to see how he does.
