The Ohio State football team has two excellent wide receivers that will go in the first round of the NFL Draft in 2022. Which one of them is better?

The Ohio State football team has a whole corps of wide receivers that are really good. Other teams would kill to have Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Julian Fleming as their top two receivers. Those two guys are really good players and will certainly help the Buckeyes in the future.

Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson are on another planet compared to those guys. Both are capable of making any catch that you can think of. They both have great hands and can get separation with ease. Which one of these guys is the better receiver between the two of them?

In my eyes, it’s Olave by a hair. He seems to be the better deep ball threat. He can track the ball well and has the breakaway speed to make those big plays. It’s not that Wilson doesn’t have that ability, but I think Olave does it just a little bit better right now.

The stats bear that out as well. Olave had 12 touchdowns a couple of seasons ago and added 7 more last year. Wilson had 6 last year, which is still really good. Wilson is better after the catch than Olave is because he is shiftier. But Olave having that deep ball ability makes him a bit better.

Again, the Buckeyes have both of these guys. They are both going to be top-20 picks in next year’s Draft. Both are going to have big years in 2021. Because of how good they both are, it doesn’t matter which quarterback is going to be throwing them the ball.

Next. The most underrated Buckeye on the roster. dark

We’ll have to see which one has the better statistical season. I bet they will both have very similar stats again.
