June will be an incredibly busy month for the Ohio State football program, as they will be hosting a whole lot of recruits.

The Ohio State football team is about to embark on perhaps the busiest month they’ve ever encountered on the recruiting front. As we’ve already discussed, they will be looking to host anywhere from 150-200 prospects for unofficial visits and 51 for official visits.

When can we determine whether or not these recruits will actually make a decision to either commit to Ohio State or somewhere else? It really depends on the recruit. There are so many moving parts that are out there from both prospects and programs.

As far as Ohio State is concerned, I would be surprised if anyone committed before this weekend. Not enough prospects will have gotten on campus or even completed other visits. These recruits have waited this long to make a visit, so they’re going to take their time in committing to a school.

June will certainly be a busy month in terms of commitments though. This is true for both the 2021 class, where Ohio State is trying to grab some stragglers, and the 2022 class. Most of their visits will be from 2022 players. They want to pump up those recruitment numbers.

I’d be surprised if the Buckeyes didn’t end up having at least 7 or so commits in this month alone. That includes players from the 2021 class and the 2022 class. There are just so many kids coming to campus, and this program is too good to not grab at least that many recruits.

Ryan Day won’t be getting much sleep this month as he makes big pushes for elite players. The same goes for the rest of the coaches on his staff. He will have his work cut out for him in terms of the volume of work that needs to get done to land these kids.

dark. Next. OSU still has best recruiting class

If anything happens, we will be there to report and react to it!
