The Ohio State football program is on the list of the top quarterback in the class of 2023, who is Peyton Manning’s nephew. Arch Manning would certainly be a great get for the Buckeyes.

The Ohio State football team already has the number quarterback in the country for the class of 2022 in Quinn Ewers. Ewers is supposed to be one of the best quarterback prospects in recent memory and has drawn comparisons to Trevor Lawrence.

Ryan Day isn’t satisfied in just having him on the team though. He wants to accumulate as much quarterback talent as he can. Because of that drive, the Buckeyes are now one of the schools that the number one quarterback for the class of 2023 is seriously considering.

That quarterback is Arch Manning, the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning. He is out of New Orleans and is the top quarterback prospect in the country. With a name like Manning, you’d expect him to have some serious talent and he has just that.

Manning has elite arm strength and is very cerebral in the finer points of the game. He is a pro-style quarterback and is the third-best overall recruit in the country right now. He is someone who will be sought after from coast to coast.

Ohio State is on a list of schools that Manning is interested in right now. He is visiting a ton of schools this June, including SMU, Clemson, Alabama, Texas, and Georgia. He does want to visit Ohio State also, along with other schools such as Stanford, USC, UNC, and others.

If Day was somehow able to land Manning after grabbing Ewers the year before, it would unreal. Day would unquestionably be the best quarterback recruiter in the country. It’s obviously very early in the recruiting process for him, so this will take some time.

Right now, Day and his staff are more focused on kids from the class of 2022 right now.
