The Ohio State football program has a wealth of talent at a multitude of positions. Here are three candidates within the program to transfer because of that talent.

The Ohio State football program has already had a couple of players transfer out this offseason. They decided that they wanted to pursue opportunities that were better for them. That makes sense when you see that both of them were from the wide receiver room.

There are plenty of other positions that have a lot of talent there as well. That talent means a lot of good players aren’t going to get on the field in 2021. Some of them might also consider transferring so they can get some playing time and showcase their skills.

While there are certainly more than just three candidates to transfer out of the Ohio State football program, we will only focus on three of them. These three are the most likely to leave before the 2021 season rolls around in the Fall. It would make sense for them to leave honestly.

These players play a variety of positions and could probably start on different teams if they weren’t at Ohio State. That’s what’s so great about the recruiting from Ryan Day: everyone is really good. The Buckeyes can afford to have these guys leave.

The first player on this list is someone who is at perhaps the most crowded position group other than the wide receiver room. Injuries have prevented this player from getting a truly fair shot at becoming a starter.
