Both former Ohio State football players performed well in front of scouts at Ohio State’s second Pro Day.

The Ohio State football team had its Pro Day a couple of weeks ago. In that Pro Day, Justin Fields was fantastic throwing the ball. He had some simply ridiculously insane throws in that workout and did nothing but improve his draft stock. Apparently, he didn’t improve it enough.

That’s because he had a second Pro Day today where scouts from the 49ers, Patriots, and Falcons were all in attendance. He once again was sensational and threw some absolute dimes down the field. Here’s some video of some of his throws.

As you can see, Fields was just as good in this Pro Day as he was in the first one. He continues to show his ability to throw the deep ball and his ability to throw on the run. Even though Fields was the main attraction today, he’s not the only one who turned heads.

Shaun Wade also worked out today in front of scouts. Wade did not work out in Ohio State’s first Pro Day because he was still recovering from the turf toe injury that plagued him in 2020. Even though he wasn’t fully healthy, he still ran a blazing 40 time.

Wade’s 40 time isn’t the only thing that got scouts excited. He also had a 37.5-inch vertical jump and had a 10’3 broad jump. Those numbers will certainly help his draft stock, especially when he did all of this while still nursing that injury. Wade did himself a lot of favors today.
