The Ohio State football program produces NFL talent every year. Here are the five best ones from the past few years.

The Ohio State football program is one of the most talented in the modern era. With this, there are seemingly multiple Buckeyes being drafted every year. There are typically one or two Buckeyes who breakthrough every year.

The honorable mention for this list is Chase Young. Young had an amazing rookie season in which he took home the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.

Along with this, he totalled four passes defended, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries (one of which he returned for a touchdown), 7.5 sacks, and 44 tackles. In just one season, Young has made the Football Team’s defense one of the best in the league and established himself as a franchise player and building piece for the Football team.

The Washington Football Team should be an NFL team that all Buckeyes fans cheer for. Along with Young on the roster is Terry McLaurin who had established himself as an upper-tier receiver in the league.

Despite never really having a consistent quarterback during his two seasons in the league, he has put up very respectable numbers.

Although the football team is still on the look for their franchise quarterback, McLaurin will be a constant on the roster that will give any QB a reliable target who is dangerous after the catch.

Other honorable mentions that should be on the list, but there is not enough room, are Denzel Ward for the Cleveland Browns and Marshon Lattimore for the New Orleans Saints.

With more time in the league, these young Buckeyes may easily make their way onto the list, however, with all of the talent that came from the Ohio State Buckeyes that have been great for years, it is hard to slim the list down to just five players.
