The Ohio State football team is having their Pro Day today and Tommy Togiai showed off an insane amount of strength for all scouts to see.

Tommy Togiai was one of the strongest players on the Ohio State football team. He was really good at pushing offensive linemen back in the pocket and collapsing things up the middle. He showed just how strong he is at Ohio State’s Pro Day.

Togiai was trying to break the bench press record of 50 reps of 225 pounds. He didn’t quite get there, but still threw up an impressive 40 reps. You can see in the video below just how invested his former teammates were in his endeavor.

This is impressive no matter how you slice it. Togiai already has a lot of good film out there for teams to see just how strong he is on the field. This just reinforces that thought. His bull rush is one of his best tools that he has in his arsenal. That’s not saying he can’t be quick though.

It’s hard to say how much this affects his draft stock. It certainly can’t hurt it. He was projected to be a third or fourth-round pick before this. My guess is that he has solidly put himself in the third round, and that’s before he does any other drills during the rest of the Pro Day.

Togiai and other former Ohio State football players will be taking part in drills all day long. We will keep you updated throughout the day as more updates come out of Pro Day. The headliner will obviously be Justin Fields, so we will definitely make sure we update you on him.
