Ohio State football: Former TTUN player says UM has equal talent
By Ryan Stano
Another day, another TTUN player making a ridiculous comment. This time, it was a former player saying that TTUN has equal talent to the Ohio State football team.
The Ohio State football team hasn’t stopped smashing TTUN for the last 20 years. Everyone knows the dominance Ohio State has had in the rivalry, so there’s no need to go there. But clearly, TTUN players need to be educated on it more.
Former TTUN receiver Nico Collins has opened up his mouth. He claims that TTUN has talent that is equal to what Ohio State has on its football team. Collins just finished his career at Michigan and uh….did not beat Ohio State a single time while he was there.
This is just another attempt at someone within that program to deny the truth of the state of the rivalry. The truth is that TTUN is an afterthought in the grand scheme of the Big Ten and the national stage. They haven’t been relevant since 2018.
None of the games that these two teams have played against each other have been particularly close since the double-overtime thriller of 2016. Since then, the Buckeyes have beaten Michigan by a combined score of 149-70. It hasn’t been close at all.
At some point, this nonsense has to stop from TTUN. They have to learn to keep their mouth shut. Ohio State is already going to pound them in 2021 for their cowardice in 2020. I’m not really sure how Collins can say this when you look at both teams’ records from a year ago too.
The Ohio State football team went 8-1 and only lost in the National Championship. TTUN meanwhile went 2-4 and lost every single home game they had. I’m not sure how that means that both teams have equal talent.
It’s too bad Collins won’t be on the field when the Buckeyes deliver their annual beatdown this year.
