Ohio State. 30. 86. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Myers. Josh Myers

The Jets take a second member from the Ohio State football team in this draft. The Jets will need an offensive line that can protect Justin Fields. Bringing in his center would not only do that but also give Fields some familiarity when it comes to the center-quarterback exchanges.

Myers someone who is very versatile. He can play multiple positions on the offensive line if he is needed. Myers showed his prowess against Clemson by controlling the line of scrimmage up the middle. He also showed his value to the Buckeyes when he missed the Michigan State game.

The Jets need help at center and could do worse than Myers. I would be shocked if this team went this far into the draft and hadn’t tried to address the offensive line with at least one of their picks up to this point. It’s their single highest need besides quarterback.

Unfortunately, this is the last prospect that we have going in one of the top three rounds of the draft. But we do have some other prospects who project to be taken in this draft.  Their status is a little harder to project.
