It was the very definition of a trap game, but the Ohio State basketball team was able to beat Penn State after some impressive offensive fireworks.

It was a game until the last minute or so, but the Buckeyes were able to pull out the victory at Penn State. The Ohio State basketball team won 92-82 after an impressive display of offense. It is the fourth time this season that the Buckeyes were able to put up 90+ points.

The Buckeyes were led by E.J. Liddell’s 23 points. He scored those points on 8-12 shooting and was the best player on the floor. The problem is that he had some foul trouble, so he couldn’t play as much as he wanted to late in the game. He came up big when he needed to though.

Duane Washington also had a big game offensively. He scored 21 points on 6-9 shooting, including 4-5 from three. He made some really tough shots when the Buckeyes really needed a bucket. When he gets hot, this team is almost impossible to stop.

C.J. Walker had 13 points off the bench as well. He too made some tough buckets in dire situations. He and Musa Jallow were big producers off the bench, with Jallow scoring 9 crucial points. Unfortunately, they did have one big issue with a bench player.

Seth Towns left the game after hurting his knee. He hurt the same knee that he tore up prior to this year and has been nursing all season long. He was able to put some weight on it, but the Buckeyes really need him Sunday when they take on Michigan.

Now that his game is over, Chris Holtmann can allow his team to turn their attention to TTUN in the biggest game of the season so far. It certainly will be a good one.
