With the Ohio State football program having filled out most of their recruiting class, there is one specific recruit who is flying under the radar who might make an impact right away.

The class of 2021 is already the best recruiting class in Ohio State football history. While it still has a chance to get better, their class is mostly full. They have plenty of quality players coming into the program. There is one recruit that I think is flying under the radar and could turn into a stud.

That player is wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. Now I will say that I could be slightly biased because his Hall of Fame father is my favorite athlete of all-time. But that doesn’t change the skills that this kid has or the genes he possesses.

Harrison Jr. is a four-star kid out of Philly. He will be joining his high school teammate Kyle McCord in coming to Columbus. Even though the wide receiver room is packed with immense talent, Harrison Jr. has a chance to make an incredible impact on this team over time.

Just like his dad, he is incredibly polished. Ryan Day was actually surprised just how polished he is already. He is someone with great hands that runs great routes. He is also very quick. With the roster being so filled with receiver talent, he may not get on the field a lot in 2021.

But when 2022 rolls around, Harrison Jr. should be a reliable option to catch passes from whoever the quarterback is. That will be the most interesting roster decision that Day has to make. Harrison Jr. is someone that will likely be unsung his entire Ohio State career but will be incredibly impactful.

I can’t wait to see what this recruiting class is able to do on the field. I can’t wait for the Spring game so we can see what this team will look like.
