The Ohio State football team already had motivation from Nick Saban’s disrespect, but now they get it from his daughter too. She apologized, but it’s too late now.

Motivation is a powerful thing. We saw what it did to Clemson after the Ohio State football program opened up a can on them in the Sugar Bowl. The Buckeyes already had ammunition from Nick Saban’s disrespect. Now they get it from his daughter too.

Saban’s daughter tweeted, and soon deleted, an accusation of the Buckeyes wanting to postpone the national championship, not because of possible COVID cases within the program, but because they wanted more time for Justin Fields to heal from his injury.

After that tweet, Ohio State fans were quick to remind her that the last time these two teams played, the Buckeyes beat Bama with a third-string quarterback. Cardale Jones said as much himself. But the assertion that Ohio State would do this is ridiculous.

Soon after tweeting this, Kristen immediately made her account private and deleted the tweet. Clearly, it wasn’t enough though. Her dad must have seen it and given her a call because she has now issued an apology for the tweet.

I’m sorry too Kristen. I’m sorry that these screenshots will live forever if the Buckeyes end up beating Alabama on Monday night. The internet is a cruel place and your life will be unbearable for a few years if the Buckeyes do go ahead and pull the upset.

As if Ryan Day and his squad needed more motivation to beat this team. People affiliated with other programs don’t know when to keep their mouths shut.
